Dining with 12 Stars
On Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th of November 2010 Sofitel Amsterdam The Grand will, for the fourth consecutive year, host the culinary Stars, Food & Art event. During the event the chefs will prepare their signature dishes. Private gourmands as well as companies will be able to participate in this wonderful gastronomical experience. A substantial amount of the cover will be donated to the Amsterdam department of the Dutch Red Cross.
The Grand is a historic landmark in Amsterdam has a rich culinary heritage, with clear influences from the school of grandmaster Escoffier, the reformer of La Cuisine Classique, the founder of the international art of cooking. It is for this reason that The Grand, in cooperation with culinary journalist and author Lise Goeman Borgesius, is organizing this unique gathering of star chefs: to stimulate and to surprise the taste buds of the attendees in an authentic way.
Pre-tasting 2010
On the 7th of June, the Pre_Tasting 2010 took place at Sofitel Amsterdam The Grand.
Two of the participating chefs for the Stars, Food & Art event on november 5 & 6 2010, - chef Moshik Roth (Restaurant Brouwerskolkje**, Overveen) and Christophe Bacquié (Restaurant Le Monte Cristo**, Le Castellet) - have created a sunny dish for our guest.
